ok,lets look at what i've been doing for the entire 2007. its the end of the year so wells,i guess its time to reflect and see how can i do better for the next year:D


Profile: Year 2007 , Sec 303'07.

January
Went to class 303 quite reluctantly, i really regretted not taking BSP. a lot. oh wells,but nevermind, i still made great friends in this class and really 303 was quite a fantastic class<333
Sec1 orientation! class 109 was great! cute little sec 1s:)))
CCA orientation! was in publicity comm i think:D

February
Thinking Day 07!-we had the first solid bang:D ohh and i was the timer<3 hiaz that i doubt i'll ever get to time in a squad again. and i'll rmb how i tried to resist all the CNY goodies in order to protect my voice..hehe.
and of course Pageant'07-with the sec 2s. yeah it was quite fun! and i think our performance was the BEST of all can. haha with me around,of course:D but seriously,the pageant was really great, not only the final product but the process as well<33

March
nothing much happened. just did a lot of mugging:D
OH and the start of my visits to Rainbow Centre! the children there are cute and nice:P

April
-Maths Common Test 2! i improved by 20marks:D yeah(:

May
-Chem Car! We got 3rd! by accident:D but anyways chem car was a great process!
with anninglenyhuikinjingyingxinyan and ME!
we had fun playing with the vinegar and powder<33

June
-LTC'07:D had real fun! heh but i forgot my patrol name le!
-June also marks the start of sec threes having to go for PLC:)
-was chionging all the SIAs due on term 3 too:D
-a very very fufilling month!

July
eh its the mugging period i think! this period was quite stressful la. but nvm,i survived it!
ohoh and FC selection:D haha became a FC by accident. hiaz but its quite sad you know, i won't get to march in a squad anymore, cannot march with batchmates or time time loudly anymore! i really miss those footdrill sessions.
and i think i started to do flagraising with xinyi this month too! haha quite fun doing with xinyi. the school flag yeah.

August
wower! this is the most hectic month.
firstly my birthday! haha ok not so important.
then had 90th anniver cum NDP parade! quite a fun experience though we marched really lousy at that time.
hmm then Heritage Trail! it was successful! thanks yux yenjin and geokting! haha we finally pulled through. heritage trail was great and fun and exciting! quite a good experience for me coz i never tried organising a big event before!
then PIANO EXAM GRADE 7! oh man i thought i really failed the exam you know. thanks yenjin for helping me with piano! and i got a MERIT! WELL DONE AMANDA:D

September
ohman EOYS are coming! everybody's mugging and so is AMANDA. i am a good girl okays!

October
NO MORE EXAMS=NO MORE STRESS!
yeah and msg 1.5<33 getting close to 1.0!
AXAS was born in October:D haha we were born quite reluctantly. but neverminds, we can't turn back time now so yao jiang qiang de zou xia qu.
and the birth of Radiate'07 too<33 thanks to physics!

Kolkata! groupfive<3 i will always remember this part of my life. the way how we had fun together painting,playing,eating and all sorts of random stuff!

Korea trip was great! i saw snow:D and korean food is niceee. though every night was spent doing proposals but still, Korea is great! and i bought a lot of things back!

December
Radiate'07! erm successful? i would say rather, a fufiling experience, i learnt a lot.
Preparing for 2008.
a lot of committments for the next year. i can list like A LOT!
but getting busy is better than nothing... at least 过得很充实.
i think next year will be a very exciting year for me! and last year in NY too. hmm finnally sec 4 le.


YEAH 2007 has been a great year for me! and i learnt a lot alot of things and gained a lot too!

hope that 2008 will be as great!


Thinking day is coming soon! very exciting:D haha and zihui, i have xin ji hua<33 i will show you my proposal soon:D

403'08 will definitely be a great class!

and hope that guides will yue lai yue hao! under the capable leadership of AXAS:DDDDDDD

my 97th post on Christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!

i just watched finish Episode 2 of ISWAK2<33 hehh its really nice, but ZS was quite bad toXQ in this episode. but then when he brought XQ to the lecture that part damn nice and cool:DD can't wait for the 3rd episode!

let's check what i did today, hmm 3 R and R, half-done li jie wen da, one proposal, and looked at the written assignment for an hour but still can't solve. tsk heh, wanted to go gym today but just realised its public holiday! stupid la, i still have chinese SIA, IH SIA, and my chengyus, this is the first time i'm so screwed. i hate doing things the last minute, now its like so luan! RAAAHHH! this holiday is like so screwed up! spent time doing so many useless things, or time was spent meaninglessly. i shall reset my timetable and goals again<3

i guess after all these, i finally learnt how to persevere in times of difficulties and keep on optimistic about things. from my kolkata trip, i saw the fragileness of humanity and saw what was the true meaning of happiness. i think i've gained a lot though i lost too, and yet the support of friends really kept me going on. I finally understood what true friends are and i'm really greatful that i saw which friends are worthy of me to give my time for, and for some,i really saw their true colours.
i guess life is about this, having ups and downs and losing,gaining and at the end of the day, you will learn a lot of things that you've never imagined. and i'll continue learning i promise!

heh talking about the word promise, i think i made like a lot of promises to many people but still haven shi xian my promise, haha i'm such a shi bai zhe... hehhh one day bah,MAYBE..
and i think i still owe people meals and stuff yeah...oh like zihui's candy i think:)

and thanks to everyone who wished me Merry Christmas, or randomly just wishing me Merry Christmas on MSN or just a simple "have a nice day" and stuff, xiexie! and really sorry that i didn't reply to all yeah,my sms is exploding soon this month:D but really,thanks for everything!

And i'm really tired now, i don't like to be the one always initiating, very very tired. and somehow i changed my opinion of someone a lot, and i guess things are always this superficial and fake.and really,i don't care anymore, i'm going to continue doing my own things and lead my own life.

oh man, i woke up SUPER early this morning hoping to watch the original version of ISWAK epi 1. however, despite how many attempts to search for the clip on youtube,i failed.
so sad! somehow the taiwan people never upload on youtube. ohhhh and right now, the people in taiwan are watching episode two of ISWAK! ohman,so xing fu right? sometimes, i think the people in taiwan are very good,coz they get to watch loads of taiwanese serials! maybe one day i shall emigrate to Taiwan! haha who wants to join me?

hohoho and then i went to watch gong zhu xiao mei! by wu zun and angela zhang(: quite a nice show:DD

yupps so i conclude that i spent the entire morning watching taiwanese dramas, haha for once i slacked the entire morning(: hehe

went to school today for orientation stuff. heh then today was sec 1 registration day, very exciting! haha its so cool to see your new juniors and all their anxious parents. hohoho:DD

orientation rehearsal was quite sucessful yep.<3333

oh then after that went to watch National Treasure! heh its a very nice movie, very exciting and will definitely keep you gripped onto the screen. its quite action packed also, then you can really feel the tension when everyone in the cinema is watching it and waiting to find the treasure(:
haha shan't reveal anymore:Dgo watch and you will know!

hohoho and we got 2 silvers now! hehehe,hope that we can squeeze more stuff to get gold yeah!!

hmm, i finally learnt something.

only if i let go, then i will gain more.

I'm feeling absolutely great about this and i guess everything's back to normal now.

somethings that were quite important to me were not so now.
because i really learnt how to see the many beautiful things around me instead of just focussing on something.

okays,i watch finish the ISWAK2 Episode 1! why must it come out one episode by one epsiode! oh and the kissing scene was damn long and sweet<3 oh then i checked online and learnt that the director had cut of this 40secs bed scene. awwwww...so wasted! anyways,its really nice! haha can't wait for sunday! Episode 2:)

Yesterday i went to compass point and stayed there like for the entire morning. haha thanks dear:D hmm and then i went for tuition! hoho learnt about electricity! quite confusing but nevermind,i can handle!
then went for prayers with my parents in the evening, and then went for supper.
haha i had such a fufiling day!
ohoh and i bought iweekly:D

this morning,i did nothing! haha shall do my probability and essay later.
plus i still have 5 more R and R, 1 li jie wen da, 1 du shu bao gao and 1 IH SIA. well done man!
and today's the 20th already! which means like 10more days left. oh no!

lets see what i did this morning,
well erm learnt 20new chengyus,did half of my chem ws,tried to do probability, and read my kolkata-bought books! practiced piano too! and watch teevee of course:D

ehh quite shi bai today, attempted to clear at least half of my homework list but failed.
but at least today is the first day i get to experience my truly holiday life!

ohh and i m so sad that jeanette aw did not get into top 10 in starawards yesterday! erm only 3 out of the 7 princesses got it. i was like hoping they calculated wrongly or smth but nah, she didn't get it. but never, jiayou next year! hope that she gets best actress even better:D

and something very scary happened! i just realised it just just.
that everything in Radiate07 gmail disappeared AGAIN! oh man, this is super ultra freaking scary and wierd, might be some stupid people playing prank or smth lah, but still, why would emails suddenly go missing!?!?!

oh and ivle is gone too. can't find anything le.

ahhh gmail is getting wierder and wierder.

and good news is that my ipod is working again! haha i miss music a lot:D

hmm,had farewell yesterday. heh this year's farewell just feels a little different. don't ask me why,i don't know.

I'm gonna to miss Sharlene! she zhen de hen ke ai<3 and there's no one going home with me and yux anymore.

oh and handover ceremony was kinda short,and everything took place quickly.

then took quite a bit of photos, hmm let me think, got patrol,batch,FC,and etc random pics.

farewell concert, rushing here and there and still exceeded the time frame by 30mins. tsktsk, i think i really failed as a timekeeper. and a lot of other things went wrong somehow but still managed to turn the situation around.

and I passed Yenjin's test of no crying! hehhh i didn't cry at all can! shi pro de lor:D somehow the tears just couldn't come out, even though i really felt like crying that day.
and then, will start thinking of everything thats going to happen next year and trust me, if you were me, you would really cry.

but really, after farewell i really heaved a sigh of relief, i mean like after all the preparation,it finally went on quite smoothly, and all the hardwork the previous night paid off!
hoho thanks Shi Ting,Xinyi,Yenjin,Zihui for doing all the farewell stuff on the night before yeah....if not farewell wouldn't have been possible.

then after farewell, i went home and started reading all the letters and notes i got...
while reading, i dunno why, my tears just uncontrollably rolled down...
I'm begininning to miss all e sec fours, and starting to appreciate what they've done for us.

ok then after that i was rather confused and like lost,in a jungle.. trying to get everything in the right track but errr,
so for the entire night and till today, i refused to think about guides and i didn't check my mails, didn't reply smses and didn't even do what i'm supposed to do.ooops!
i just wanna take a rest for one day. i mean i really need it.

but i think after today, everything's gonna replay again.
once again, checking emails and proposals have like become my routine??
but nvm, i shall find joy in my work...somehow!

alright shall post about the details of our camp after all the acknowledgements yesterday(:

hmm first day was bad, hehh i don't know why, but everything seemed so slow. though they managed to set up campsite within the stipulated time but it was still quite slow.

then i took testworks, passed both(:
stipulated outdoor cooking, helped Sodium with their stuff, in case they realise,i'm not supposed to help. but raah, its 情不自禁to help out.
and i need to learn not to help the juniors anymore. They say we can't do that coz we are leaders,must have leaders-look-and-behaviour-. ok,i'll try,but its really hard,thats not me!

TRUST AND COURAGE X:DD
trust fall was nice(: haha and even the seniors enjoyed it. ohwells,then me and shi ting spent the remaining time planning for next day stuff.

COH;first time;nothing much to say, just that its really disappointing to hear all the comments you know, and well, our batch really must JIAYOU,wei lai de lu hen nan zou.

COH ended about 1plus and then we slept at about 2plus, 12 of us had to squeeze really bad. some people are really ****** you know.

DAY2:DD
Colours; I got ABIT shock when i saw the standard of footdrill.
long time no practice,everything we had fell from the top to bottom.
RIGHT,so if you think marching equals walking, at attention equals at ease, then i think you need to reflect. then why join guides in the first place.

widegame was FUN! haha taking taxi/bus here and there delivering food was a unique experience,especially in the rain.
hoho then night treasure hunt, me was in the locker toilet.
ohwells,didn't manage to scare a lot of people, i bu ren xin to scare them(:

COH was Bad again, we gave bad feedback to juniors,we received bad feedback from seniors, well,this goes round right?

DAY3.

IT RAINED.

COC was bad, and i really got pissed off, Jean got even more pissed off.
As in it wasn't supposed to be so slack,it was the second time doing outdoor cooking in camp, but ohwells,maybe first time in the kitchen.

Pioneering(:
quite ok lah, basically till the third day of camp, i didn't dare to expect so much already, so i guess we just have to close one eye.

COH that night was really long, and i didn't sleep the entire night too.
iris sandy zihui yenjin evelyn attempted to survive the night with me, but i guess only iris survived i think(:

OK, Day 4 came quickly.
FOOTDRILL!
me zihui and rayna got abit shocked and helpless when we saw the footdrill standard.
and really you know, i wanted to like scream and scold and do whatever i can but it just cannot come out. i guess this needs time and patience.
and right,thinking day is coming so. we are like getting worried for next year le.
what are we going to show the school man, well at least don't run off from the quadrangle.

but me and zihui will definitely perservere, hehh we aim to turn all the sec ones from stones to jewels.(((:


RAAH,okay on the whole its disappointing,
expectations were not met,
our expectations of juniors didn't meet,
seniors expectations of our batch didn't meet,


i guess the entire NYGG must jiayou! if not our standard will really drop. not as if its not dropping now, in fact its sliding down very fast.
and i think next year's gonna be a tough year,i really don't know what to expect.

hehh but this camp is still great, i think juniors had fun,
just that we had to compromise on our discipline throughout this camp which shouldn't be the case as we are a uniform group.

hmm,will keep on trying and improving.

will think of more ways to improve the entire company.

mustn't give up coz this is not the end but the beginning, of everything.

yoohoo! just camp back from camp(: taxi-ed home with jean and yuxin! and the taxi driver was really WIERD. and LOUSY.... haha so i left school at 5 plus and reached home at about 6 plus; first thing i did was go and bathe! then watched The Champion while having dinner and at 7, i went to SLEEP.
and i slept till about 10am and the first thing i did was to switch on the computer and tada! here i am(((:

hmm,if you ask me how i feel about this camp,what i can say is very tiring,yet satisfying and fufilling(:

and its really very 欣慰to see how much your juniors have grown throughout this camp,and everyone seem so 温馨 together as a company. haha oh and for sec threes, i guess we all know how we fared in this camp, be it as an individual or as a batch.
hehh,we'll keep on improving okays, NYGG can do it! Radiate'07 is not the end,the start has just begun!

oh and during the camp, igot really pissed off with some people so heys,so sorry to anyone whom I fa xie on and sorry to anyone if i pissed them off. dui bu qi!

to conclude about this camp, i have one word. Camp was Great!
even though things were not so good as planned, things needed improvement, i'm still glad that we managed to survive all this and planned such a great-though-not-so-perfect- camp! Hey so thanks a lot Sec threes! and thanks alot to everyone part of NYGG(:

So I'm going to say Thank You to everyone now!

Ms Teng; thanks a lot man! Without you,i guess this camp wouldn't be possible:D I'm really greatful for all the tolerance,help and love that you've given for our batch;and we are really sorry for not meeting up to expectations at times,dui bu qi!

Seniors and Sec fours;hey thanks a lot seniors! 在我们无助的时候，伸出援手(: we are really greatful! and thanks for all the advice and feedback you've given,we'll keep on improving!

and of course,i need to thank my wonderful batchmates, Sec Threes!

Shi Ting;hey thanks a lot girl! i will always rmb the times when we were panicky and then cracking our brains to the times when we had to survive all the expections we had to meet during this camp.from the planning to the actual camp, i guess we really did our best and yupps,we are satisfied with the results; we'll keep on improving in the next year ok!

Xinyi; yoohoo! i know it wasn't easy for you to handle wide game and at the same time the responsibility of an ACC, but nevertheless, you've done a great job and thanks for always being there for me when i needed help!

An-ning; Yo! Thanks a lot for everything you've done,right from the start of planning to the end; i know it wasn't easy for u too but i'm really thankful for the effort you've put in this camp! and the campfire was great,really.
Wyeteng and Esther; i know food comm isn't easy, though i've never experienced being in the food comm before, but i think you all have done a great job! and i'm really sorry for not allocating enough manpower to food comm, so sorry!

Jean and Cheryl; without you all, we wouldn't have a nice working area, we wouldn't know who to go when we are injured, so really,you two have done a wonderful job is getting all these done and i just wanna say, xin ku ni le!

Jiayu and Yuxin; hey hardies! you all are really great! and wei da! without you managing e logistics, camp wouldn't even take place, so really thanks for giving in so much for this camp!

Rayna and Kaiyun; hey softies! i just wanna say,you two are SPLEDID! thanks a lot for keeping the guide room in place and managing all the logistics(: xiexie ni:DD

Yenjin and Iris;Thanks alot dearies! I think everyone enjoyed the teambuilding! hey and really thanks for willing to help me when i needed help, even if its just a small encouragement,i really appreciated it! hoho and thanks iris and yenjin(fell asleep halfway though:D) for accompanying me the entire night on the last day and helping me with the stuff though you really didn't have too. so thanks a lot!((((:

Zihui and Sandy; hey fellow FCs! thanks alot man, for everything you've done, i really appreciate it! and i will always remember how we had to wake up so early for colours and especially on the last day when we actually fell asleep in front of the flagpole, haha(: thanks a lot really((:

and really, thanks a lot to the rest of the sec threes; you all have helped me a lot during this camp and did your best for all the activities and the list goes on and on, so i just want to say thanks to Joanne,Sarah,Sweehoon,Yinghui,Esther,Evelyn Lee,EvelynLim,Gekyong,Tenille,Hsinying,Geokting,Michelle Peh,Michelle Kang,Kendra,Yiwei,Yixian, for really putting in so much effort for your various activities, for having to do so many proposals just for that programme and for really so willing to contribute so much for camp! I am really greatful for all you've done and without you all, camp wouldn't even have activities, so thanks a lot!:DD I am really greatful to all of you and from the bottom of my heart,xie xie ni(:

lastly, without the support and help from sec threes, i think I wouldn't have managed to survive the hard times during this camp. So Thanks a lot batchmates, you were my everything during camp, and I really aprreciate everything you've done!

and of course, i would like to thank the campers(: cuties sec ones and enthu sec twos! thanks a lot darlings and i'm really sorry for not giving you all a wonderful camp. you all had done a great job,thanks alot! without the campers,there wouldn't even be camp! so i really want to thank all the campers for all the effort you all have put in this camp:DD Thanks a lot!

and i would like to thank each and everyone for being part of this camp and contributing to it, for supporting me along the way and forgiving me for all the blunters i made, so really SORRY and THANKS FOR EVERYHING:DDDDDDDDDDDDDD

though camp wasn't smooth-sailing, but i think it was quite a great one overall, I promise I'll keep on improving and 不会辜负你们对我的期望！

I'll always keep these memories of Radiate'07 right in my heart and they will always be my motivation to keep on trying and improving.

hey! this shall be my last post before i go for nyggcamp.

and this post is going to be just for nygg(:

two months of preparation, two months of hardwork
two months worth of proposals,two months worth of sweat

and finally,we are about to start this camp;Radiate07'

How hard we tried, How much effort we put in,
How many emails we read, How many proposals we vetted
our efforts are about to pay off,
in just this 4days of camp.

Hey, i know it wasn't easy, I didn't think it was easy, so i am really thankful for the effort that my batchmates had put in! We'll stay strong okay, and pull through this camp<3

I know its hard for u all to submit proposals and redoing them over weeks even though we were all busy with our global classroom programmes.
I know that this is our first time planning for a camp, and we are all learning. I really don't blame you all for all the problems that we've encountered, i know that we'll overcome this,as long as We are all in this together.

Thanks a lot sec threes! My lovely batchmates<3 i love you all:D and you all made this possible.

Precamp trainings were tough, things were very rush, yet sec1s and sec2s manage to pull through all this, and i'm really proud of them!
hey i hate repeating the same stuff about sense of urgency and taking initiative, i really don't like to scold people(its not my style<3),i'm really sorry if i've pissed anyone off.
when things don't go the right way, we all learn from our mistakes,and i guess we are all learning....
