elites and elitism.
i was really pissed when i read the article.
heyhey..comeon..its not true.
Singapore's education system doesn't breed elitism.
so what if we study in a so-called prestigious school NYGH? does it mean that we are the elites of the society? I beg to differ. why can't those studying in the neighbourhood schools be elites?
maybe we should consider,what is the definition of elites

is a relatively small domina
nt group within a larger society, which enjoys a privileged status which is upheld by individuals of lower social status within the structure of a group.
right..so it doesn't mean that if you can study well you are the elites.
i don't think we look down on those from neighbourhood school. do we? and in fact there are many non-academical areas where those people are far more better than us.
eeyer..i shan't talk about this anymore.
